(Jeremiah 18:6) “As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand.”

I wasn’t a born again Christian when I started seeing in the demonic realm. I knew for sure that the demonic realm was able to see me also. I thought I was going crazy for some reason. I knew normally people could not see these things and it really did put a deep fear in me, because there was this little voice in my head telling me something was wrong with me.

I just didn’t think it was right for me to see in the demonic realm and not see in the angelic realm. It didn’t matter where I went, I would see demonic spirits. I would see them on people, in corridors, in my house and I could feel their presence everywhere. I was tormented day and night by these demonic spirits.

I was afraid to go to sleep at night and I felt absolutely helpless.

Nobody understood my plight. I have always known of Jesus Christ but I didn’t have a personal relationship with Him. I thought I was going out of my mind. This is exactly what these demonic spirits wanted me to think. Without hesitation, I knelt down at my bedside one night, and said,” God if you are real, reveal yourself to me,” then I went to bed. Even today I cannot remember anything about that night except there was a thundering voice in the darkness that said to me,” Pray to the son of David.”

This was when I wanted Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Saviour. Although I can see in the demonic realm and have the gift of discerning spirits, now I see in the angelic realm more and more. Every time I take one step closer to my Saviour, be it in dreams, visions or by simply just stretching my faith, it is absolutely overwhelming. When I found Jesus Christ this was when I started experiencing spritual warfare.

As any Christian soon discovers, although spiritual warfare is unseen, it’s absolutely real.

What is Spiritual Warfare?

Spiritual warfare exists in the unseen, supernatural dimension, where God is all-powerful and Satan is in mutiny.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

How Do We Go into Battle as Christians?

God has equipped us with the armour and weapons of the Spirit.

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…”

(Ephesians 6:14-18)

Be Strong In the Lord

God’s side is always victorious and it is Satan who loses and wants to take as many people with him as he possibly could.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

(Ephesians 6:10-11).

A few months ago, I got into a motor vehicle accident. However, the night before the accident I experienced the pains of the accident. I did not understand the pain on my body until the accident really happened. I knew something was not right, but I did not know what it was at that time. The morning of the accident, I was travelling to work and just talking to God and praising Him. He spoke to me and said, ” Remember, I will never leave you nor forsake you” as I meditated on His promise the accident occurred before my very eyes. It was terrible. The presence of the Holy Spirit was there with me through it all. All the pain, sleepless nights, the psychological trauma and the fear, yes! He was there through it all. Today my relationship with Jesus Christ has become stronger, deeper and more intimate as the days go by. He has become my All in All.

There was this recent experience I wanted to share as well:

I had my usual conversation with Jesus just before I went to bed. I made it a regular habit to tell Him everything.

When I prayed one night, I felt His overwhelming presence saturating me and filling my room with the presence of the Holy Spirit. I saw an angel, strong and warrior-like standing inside my room next to my door. He was holding a shofar in his hand. He blew it three times and I could hear the angels in heaven saying “Holy is the Lord, God Almighty.” I was on my knees, praising God and crying uncontrollably. It was truly a sight to behold and I was there in the midst of it all.

Jesus Christ is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

At times I have often wondered where God was. Today I look back and realize that while I was reaching out to God, He was right there beside me holding my hand and helping me get through. His love is so overwhelming! I look outside and I see His Majesty in everything. His power is amazing. He has comforted me when no one else could. I would be absolutely nothing, and could do absolutely nothing without Jesus Christ. He is my rock, my fortress, my love for others, my faith, my shield, my courage, my heart, my soul and everything I am, I am because of Him.

I am zealous for Jesus Christ, because I have chosen Him and He has chosen me. He died for me on the Cross so that my sins would be remembered no more. I live for Him. It doesn’t matter what this world throws at me I know I am safe “In Gods Hands”.
