Lights, camera, action! The world is quickly becoming a CCTV world, where every move you make, someone’s watching you! (kinda reminds me of an old song) CCTV cameras in our homes, streets, malls and airports to prevent, record, assess and respond to unwanted behaviour.
Because the lights are on and the camera is recording, hypocrisy is the order of the day.
The human heart is controlled by a screen to prevent crime for the good of all. Signs like “This place is monitored” or “CCTV” can be enough to deter criminals.
I find great comfort in the fact that “Love is watching”. CCTV cameras can only record actions but God sees our thoughts and our hearts. He knows everything. He has been with me through all my weaknesses and the darkest moments of my life. Now, I find “Love” has removed all my shame and in some indescribable way through every frame.
Love has captured something amazing.
So through the veil, I am told to step boldly into the Presence of The One who knows and sees ALL. Closer and closer, I approach and I look deeply into His eternal lens. I don’t see disgust, anger or hate, yet in His eyes I see a pure love. He loves me! He knows everything and He still loves me! Call me crazy but God is in love with me.
My every step is beautiful, my every thought is His delight.
What a biased thing Love is. I dare you, stare into His eyes, draw close and look deeply and you will see what He sees….you might see yourself….
Where is God, if He cares why doesn’t He show Himself, prove Himself and the world will believe. Well He did show Himself, just the world didn’t like what they saw. Heaving, dragging, bleeding, like a dog, bawling, in pain, naked, raw, shamed and dishonored, silent and crucified. The world wonders why and with a cry that shook the foundations of Hell, He answered, “Father, forgive them!”
Go ahead and tell everybody – He is the Man!
Love is spelled with five letters…. Jesus.
“For the LORD of Hosts says this: “He has sent Me for His glory against the nations who are plundering you, for anyone who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.” Zechariah 2:8
