I keep seeing this picture in my mind. I see Jesus holding a crusade in Hell and preaching, “It is finished!”, then I see the entire crowd fixed on Him as He begins to do something unusual. He begins to quote scripture and prophecy:
“For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave.” Psalm 16:10
The crowd looks on in amazement and some dude shouts out, “For you will not leave my soul among the dead!” The crowd, fully believing in God’s love, begins to shout, “For you will not leave my soul among the dead!” – what an altar call!
There is a mighty rumbling and a shaft of light pierces the darkness….
Next, they are all back in their graves – with smiles on their faces – knowing forever; death, hell and the grave have been defeated. Climbing out of their graves and back in the land of the living, they gather around Jesus and ask, “what shall we do?” He says them, “Go the streets of Jerusalem and declare – O death where is your victory, O grave where is your sting!”
I choose to live by the faith of Jesus.
Use your faith to believe that you were in Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. Place your faith in Jesus so that you can live by the faith of Jesus. Hey, maybe you are going through a sickness and you don’t think you have the faith to overcome it. Listen, you do not need faith to win a battle Jesus has already won!
Place your faith in Jesus and you will live by the faith of Jesus – His FAITH IS SUFFICIENT for ANY problem!
“For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.” Eph 2:6
