The devil indeed has no rights to God or God’s property or God’s children – we have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus and are God’s property.

People are working up a hurricane defending sin instead of promoting righteousness. I call them “The Grace Twisters”. They attack doctrines like repentance, forgiveness, the wrath of God and eternal judgment. Recently, I heard someone say that sin does not open a door to Satan or give the enemy permission to attack our lives. I don’t want to be a cloud on a sunny day but we must expose serious doctrinal error when it surfaces.

Further, they stated that Satan is a thief and has no rights and hence his attacks on believers’ lives are illegal. Sounds good. However, if you sleep with someone with a sexual disease, you might just get the disease. Your actions gave access to the disease. Sin can give the devil access to our lives. Hence, Jesus said to a guy  “don’t sin again lest a worse thing come upon you.” Respect Jesus 🙂

Although the devil has no rights to what belongs to God, he does have rights to what belongs to him.

Satan is the ruler of the kingdom of darkness and the father of all lies. Lies and darkness belongs to him. If you have something that belongs to satan, he has a right to come looking for what belongs to him. For example: If I took your laptop and had it in my house, you have permission to come and get it. You can go to the police and they will break down my door with a search warrant to get it. How well did Jesus say, “the ruler of this world comes and has nothing in me” or “I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me.”

Part of true repentance is giving back to Satan what belongs to him so that you can walk in what belongs to you – the finished work of Christ.

“Grace Twisters” love to twist words as they do with grace but life is in the living. How well the Bible declares in 1 John, “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” If there is darkness in us then Satan has access to what belongs to him.

Ephesians 4:27 “Neither give place to the devil.” Satan is so weak and defeated that he cannot take place instead we must give him place. That verse could have also said – Neither open a door to the devil. “Grace Twisters” would like to say that sin doesn’t open a door to satan, but it is the belief – that sin opens a door – that actually opens a door – lol – huh? However after warning us in Eph 4:27, Paul goes on to list the things that can give place to the devil, he didn’t talk about beliefs but said – don’t steal, don’t be angry, don’t speak evil and forgive. He spoke about actions that give place to the devil. He then closes Ephesians talking about our fight with the wiles of the devil.

Sadly, we all know that jumping off a high cliff will kill us; not the BELIEF that jumping off a cliff will kill us – will kill us. (lol, you see why I call them Twisters) – It is the action.

Titus 1:16 “They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Nothing deny beliefs more than works.”

Finally, “Grace Twisters” err and do not understand that the New Creature is clothed in flesh and essentially, they all preach the resurrection has passed. 2 Tim 2:17-19. So they fail to understand that when Paul preached, he dealt with spirit, soul and body. We have an incorruptible spirit in a corruptible body – just understanding this will fix all Grace Twister doctrines.

Whatever you believe, sin is not a joke, it is the work of Satan. Go and sin no more. God loves you so much He gives you the power not to do Satan’s work. Only believe it is finished. Don’t give any room for Satan in your doctrines, believe that you can go and sin no more. The Bible says “if” we sin, not “when” we sin. Destroy all “when” doctrines and live in the power of the Holy Spirit!
