Recently, I was thinking of Jesus’ words – If a man looks at a woman to lust after her; He has already committed adultery in His heart.
So a guy looks at a girl, and begins to imagine himself being with her and eventually he becomes an adulterer at heart – Wow! Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart.
Sometimes, we don’t always express or do what is in our heart because of personal pride, laws or fear.
However, the heart is the real you and as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.
So Jesus’ words really had me thinking – what if I began to imagine myself healed, can I commit healing in my heart? Or what if I began to imagine myself righteous, can I be righteous at heart?
I want to encourage you to imagine all of God’s promises being made a reality in your life until it becomes a heart belief.
Hey, don’t let Satan use your imagination to lead you to sin but rather use your imagination to lead you into righteousness and all of God’s blessings.
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalms 1:1-3
