Doctrinal Error:

Jesus was a law preacher before the Cross…

This is one of the biggest errors that is now circulating in the Body of Christ today. Let’s break down this error is a very simple manner.

In 2 Corinthians Chapter 3, Paul calls the Law that is written and engraved in stones the ministry of death and condemnation.

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. ” 2 Corinthians 3:6-10

In the Gospel of John, Jesus says, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Jesus was never condemning the world but rather He was doing His Father’s will.

If Jesus preached the law He would be ministering death and condemnation. Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. It is sad, that Grace Twisters attribute to Jesus the biggest mixer of the New and Old Covenant – this is a lie to the extreme!
