A sudden bad thought pops into your mind, why do you immediately assume that YOU are having bad thoughts? It is not your thoughts but Satan’s – why not rebuke the devil so he will flee from you? You must capture Satan’s thoughts when they try to enter your mind and send them back.

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…” 2 Corinthians 10:5

If you get a bad thought, here is what to do:

Instead of feeling guilty and all condemned, why not say, “Devil, you think I am stupid and sick like you? Keep your filthy thoughts and in the name of Jesus, go from me straight into the pits of Hell!”

Let the devil know that there is going to be a price for messing with you!

All of Satan’s thoughts will say that God does not love you. It is unbelief in the love of God that makes us act on Satan’s lies. The Bible tells us we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Since we have the mind of Christ, it is our right to have the thoughts of Jesus in our mind. Here is an example of the thoughts of Jesus:

“Oh Father, you really really love me!”

“My Heavenly Daddy, I am your Son forever!”
“Father, what is your will for me today….”

Maybe you are battling sickness or a loss or financial challenges, why not only allow thoughts of God’s love and favor to fill your mind. Keep your mind on God’s love towards you. If you do not have the answers, why not think and say, “My Daddy has all the answers and He loves me, so everything is going to work out for my good!”

Do not allow a single thought in your mind that contradicts God’s love for you.

We can fill our minds with the thoughts of Jesus and the Gospel. You are forgiven and loved by GOD; you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Instead of just letting your mind wander aimlessly, why not do what Paul the apostle recommends:

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians 4:8

Just thought I would share this with you and that is a good thought…..Have an awesome day!
